Description

What: High risk for rip currents expected.
Where: In North Carolina, Eastern Currituck County. In Virginia, Virginia Beach.
When: From 8 AM EDT Monday through Monday evening.
Impacts: Breaking waves of 4 to 5 ft will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents.

Recommended Action

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
