What: Temperatures as low as 36 will result in frost formation.
Where: Portions of northeast North Carolina and central, east central, south central, and southeast Virginia.
When: From 2 AM to 9 AM EDT Tuesday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Recommended Action
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
