Flash Flood Warning
The National Weather Service in Shreveport has extended the Flash Flood Warning for Southwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma Red River County in northeastern Texa
S: Until 130 PM CDT. At 1118 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain along a line from 8 miles northwest of Manchester to 8 miles southwest of Arkinda, or along a line from 24 miles north of Clarksville to 9 miles west of Foreman, moving northeast at 5 mph. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.
Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Clarksville, Bagwell, Manchester, Detroit, Avery, Annona, Negley, Bryarly, Albion, Silver City, English, Redland, Kiomatia, Woodland, Kanawha and Lydia.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
