Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Southwestern Cotton County in southwestern Oklahoma North Central Archer County in northern Texa
S: Northwestern Clay County in northern Texa
S: Eastern Wichita County in northern Texa
S:
When: Until 600 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 345 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, Iowa Park, Holliday, Sheppard AFB, Pleasant Valley and Cashion. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
