At 1041 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen across northwest Coleman County. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Hazard: Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

Impact: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Silver Valley and Lake Coleman. This includes the following Low Water Crossing
S: County Road 482 crossing Jim Ned Creek, County Road 482 crossing South Fork Jim Ned Creek and County Road 485 crossing Indian Creek.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Where: A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Callahan and Coleman.
When: Until 1215 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 903 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Coleman, Santa Anna, Novice, Silver Valley, Valera, Glen Cove, Oplin, Voss, Hords Creek Reservoir, Lake Coleman, Us-283 Near The Coleman-Callahan County Line, Fisk and Goldsboro. - This includes the following Low Water Crossing
