The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
Affected Area: In South Dakota, Clark, Codington, Grant, Hamlin and Deuel.
Winds: Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
Relative Humidity: As low as 20 percent.
Impacts: Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.
