Flood Advisory
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Clarendon County in central South Carolina Southeastern Lee County in central South Carolina Southeastern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina Central Sumter County in central South Carolina
When: Until 1000 PM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 656 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Manning, Summerton, Elloree, Alcolu, Santee State Park, Woods Bay State Park, Elliott, Santee, Turbeville, Mayesville, Lynchburg, Paxville, Vance, Brogdon, Davis Station, Lakewood, St. Paul, Gable and East Sumter. - This includes the following highway
