Description
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT IN AFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 4 Pm Wednesday: South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30-40 mph expected (70-90% confidence) with gusts to near 45 mph along the higher elevations. Cross winds are expected through the I-84 corridor during this time. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

What: South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
Where: Central Oregon, John Day Basin, and Ochoco-John Day Highlands.
When: From 4 AM early this morning to 4 PM PST this afternoon.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
