Description
Snow Along Mountains Passes Will Affect Holiday Travel Through Wednesday: A return of an active weather pattern with an associated atmospheric river is expected to impact the Cascades, most notably over the Washington Cascades. Light rain favored, with amounts up to 0.5 inches (40-60% confidence) at the Cascade crest with lesser amounts found at the lower elevations. Precipitation over the Cascades will transition to snow this evening as snow levels drop to 2000-3000 feet. Snowfall totals through Wednesday are favored to be 2-4 inches (60-80% confidence).
