Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties, Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Cleveland, Coal, Garvin, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Lincoln, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole and Stephens and northern Texas, including the following counties, Archer and Clay.
When: Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall will continue across the area this morning. Additional rainfall totals of up to 2-4 inches remain possible, especially across portions of southeastern Oklahoma. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
