Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: The following county, in east central Indiana, Wayne and the following counties, in Ohio, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Highland, Montgomery, Preble, Ross and Warren.
When: Until 300 PM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At noon EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include Dayton, Kettering, Beavercreek, Richmond, Xenia, Trotwood, Miamisburg, Springboro, Wilmington, Eaton, Bellbrook, Moraine, Greenfield, Oakwood, West Carrollton, Waynesville, Sabina, Lewisburg, New Paris and West Alexandria.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
