Description
What: Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches in the most persistent lake snows.
Where: Wayne County. Most of the lake effect snow will focus in the far northeast end of the county near Red Creek and Wolcott, with minimal accumulation elsewhere.
When: Until 8 AM EDT Wednesday.
Impacts: Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
Recommended Action
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Submit snow reports through our website or social media.
