What: Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Portions of north central and northwest Nevada, including the following counties, in north central Nevada, Lander. In northwest Nevada, Humboldt.
When: Until 1145 PM PDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 837 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas may cause minor flooding along portions of State Route 305 approximately 10 miles south of Battle Mountain. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Phoenix Mine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
