Critical Fire Weather Conditions Are Possible Monday Afternoon For Portions Of South Central Nebraska: The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.
Winds: Southwest winds blowing 15 to 20 mph and gusting as high as 30 to 35 mph.
Relative Humidity: As low as 15 to 20 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
