RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8
Pm Mdt Friday Due To Wind And Low Relative Humidity For Slope And Bowman Counties: .Critical fire weather conditions are expected over far southwest North Dakota Friday afternoon and evening. South-southeast winds are forecast to increase to around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Relative humidity could fall as low as 15 percent.
Affected Area: Slope and Bowman.
Timing: From noon to 8 PM MDT Friday.
Winds: South to southeast winds around 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Relative Humidity: Relative Humidity as low as 15 percent.
Impacts: Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Recommended Action

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
