Description

What: For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 11 below expected.
Where: In North Carolina, Ashe and Watauga Counties. In Virginia, Grayson County. In West Virginia, Western Greenbrier County.
When: For the High Wind Warning, until noon EST Tuesday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST Tuesday.
Impacts: Strong winds will blow down trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
