Description

What: Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Western Lake County in northwestern Montana
When: Until 600 PM MDT Tuesday.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams may continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Additional Details: - At 714 AM MDT, emergency management reported small stream flooding in the warned area. Between 1 inch of rain in the valleys and 5 inches of rain in the mountains have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.05 to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding or experienceflooding in nearby fields include Ronan, St. Ignatius, and Pablo. - https://www.weather.gov/mso/hydrology

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
