What: Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Hinkson Creek at Columbia.
When: Until late Friday night.
Impacts: At 20.9 feet, Height of Providence Road just north of the gage bridge.
Additional Details: - At 1:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.2 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:00 PM CDT Thursday was 19.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.3 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even higher than predicted. When: Until 330 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 1225 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include California, Tipton, Jamestown, Clarksburg, McGirk, High Point, Hartsburg, Lupus, Kliever, Latham, Sandy Hook and Wilton.
