Description

The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Miami County in east central Kansa
S: Northeastern Linn County in east central Kansa
S: Northwestern Bates County in west central Missouri Until 1030 PM CDT. At 1007 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Linn Valley, or near La Cygne, moving south at 15 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Impact: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include La Cygne, Drexel, Linn Valley, Amsterdam, Merwin, and New Lancaster.
