Flood Warning
The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County. Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County. Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. .Water from heavy rains over the weekend continue to move into and through the river systems. Minor flooding is occuring along sections of the Muskegon River as well as the Grand River. Flood conditions will begin to improve in the next day or two.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Muskegon River at Newaygo.
When: Until early Thursday afternoon.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, The river starts exceeding its banks and minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river.
