The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Michigan Sturgeon River near Sidnaw affecting Houghton and Baraga Counties. Michigamme River near Crystal Falls (Michigamme) affecting Iron County. Tahquamenon River near Paradise affecting Luce County. .Recent rainfall on a deep primed snowpack and snowmelt. Flows in rivers will increase quickly and reach critical levels.
What: Elevated river levels caused by rain and snowmelt continue.
Where: Tahquamenon River near Paradise.
When: Until further notice.
Impacts: At 9.5 feet, The river exceeds bankfull stage At 10.3 feet, The river is at the high water mark set in May of 1960. No known significant flooding impacts are known for river heights at or below this stage
