Recommended Action

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible during the valid watch time. These conditions could promote the rapid spread of wildfires which could become life-threatening. Check www.weather.gov/shv/fireweather for forecast updates and a possible upgrade of this watch to a Red Flag Warning. Follow all fire restrictions. Avoid activities that could cause sparks.

Description

What: Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Where: Portions of north central and northwest Louisiana and east Texas.
When: Until 10 AM CDT this morning.
Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Recommended Action

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
