The National Weather Service in Lake Charles LA has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in LouisianaTexa S: Bayou Des Cannes Near Eunice Bundick Creek At Bundick Lake Whisky Chitto Creek Near Mittie Calcasieu River Near Oakdale Calcasieu River Near Kinder Calcasieu River Near Oberlin Vermilion River At Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage Sabine River Near Deweyville Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. What: Minor flooding is forecast. Where: Vermilion River at Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage. When: Until tomorrow evening. Impacts: At 11.5 feet, Minor flooding of Beaver Park and Vermilionville near the river will occur. Additional Details: - At 1:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 11.5 feet this evening. What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Mermentau River near Mermentau.
When: From late Thursday night until further notice.
Impacts: At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will occur.
Additional Details: - At 1:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 3.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning and continue rising to 4.0 feet early Friday morning.
