Description

The combination of a moist low level airmass, light winds, and partially clearing skies will allow for some fog formation overnight. Fog may become increasingly dense as the night progresses. Expect sudden changes in visibilities over short distances, with visibilities dropping below one half mile in dense fog patches. Be especially careful near bodies of water and sheltered valleys.

What: Visibility of one-quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Where: Portions of south central Indiana and north central and northwest Kentucky.
When: Until 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/ this morning.
Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Recommended Action

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
