Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana Driftwood River near Edinburgh. Flatrock River near Columbus. Big Blue River at Shelbyville. East Fork White River at Columbus.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana East Fork White River at Seymour. .Additional rainfall of two to three inches tonight will cause rivers to continue to rise, with moderate flooding expected on parts of the East Fork White and its tributaries. Locally heavier amounts could cause the crest to be higher.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: East Fork White River at Seymour.
When: Until further notice.
Impacts: At 18.3 feet, On April 23, 2011 Historic Rok-Sey roller staking rink at Rockford was sandbagged. This historic structure was flooded by 2 feet of water in June 2008 when the river approached 21 feet.

Recommended Action

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
