Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Central Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana Northeastern Warren County in west central Indiana
When: Until 100 AM EDT.
Impacts: Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
Additional Details: - At 1021 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.25 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Lafayette, West Lafayette, Shadeland, Dayton and Purdue University. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
