Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana East Fork White River at Seymour. White River at Edwardsport. White River at Elliston. White River at Hazleton. White River at Petersburg. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches since Monday has brought minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River and Seymour on the East Fork White. Flooding along the lower White could last through much of next week.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: East Fork White River at Seymour.
When: Until Tuesday afternoon.
Impacts: At 15.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding in progress. County Road 725 N near Rockford floods. Indiana 258 east of Cortland may flood. On December 8 2014 about an inch of water flowed over Reddington Street near the East Fork White River Bridge as the river crested.
Additional Details: - At 10:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Friday was 16.1 feet. - ForecastThe river will fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning to 11.0 feet early Sunday morning. It will then rise above flood stage early Sunday afternoon to 13.3 feet Monday morning.
