Freeze Warning

Description

What: For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures 27 to 32 degrees are expected. For the Lake Wind Advisory for American Falls Reservoir, north to northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph expected.
Where: Lower Snake River Plain.
When: For the Freeze Warning, until 9 AM MDT this morning. For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 3 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT this evening.
Impacts: Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
