Description
Relative Humidities of 25 percent or less can be expected for 4 or more hours this afternoon into the early evening. Winds will be northeasterly and light at 5 mph or less. With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, use extreme caution.

Description

What: Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 22 expected.
Where: Portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, northwest, southeast, and west central Georgia.
When: Until 10 AM EDT Wednesday.
Impacts: Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.
