Impacts: Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Wind chills this cold could be hazardous for those without access to adequate warmth, clothing, or shelter.

Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
