At 356 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong wind producing thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Fowler to 7 miles southwest of Rocky Ford to 8 miles east of Timpas. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Blowing dust could reduce visibility down to a mile. Locations impacted include La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Ordway, Swink, Manzanola, Olney Springs, Sugar City, Cheraw, Crowley, John Martin Reservoir, and Fort Lyon.
