Recommended Action
A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of between 30 and 40 mph are expected, or wind gusts of between 40 and 58 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.

Description

What: Sub-freezing temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s expected.
Where: Central La Paz County, Parker Valley, Aguila Valley, Southeast Valley/Queen Creek, Northwest Pinal County, West Pinal County, and Palo Verde Valley.
When: From midnight MST /11 PM PST/ tonight to 8 AM MST /7 AM PST/ Saturday.
Impacts: Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.
