Description
What: West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
Where: Kings Canyon NP, Sequoia NP, South End of the Upper Sierra, Upper San Joaquin River, and Yosemite NP outside of the valley.
When: From 11 AM this morning to 5 AM PDT Saturday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Recommended Action
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
