A strong low pressure system approaching Hudson Bay will bring strong winds, 10 to 15 cm of snow and blizzard conditions to parts of the Qikiqtaaluk region.
Beginning later this afternoon in Kinngait and overnight for the Melville Peninsula, strong winds gusting 70 to 80 km/h accompanied by falling snow will bring reduced visibilities in blowing snow and blizzard conditions. These conditions are expected to last until Wednesday morning for Kinngait and Thursday morning for the Melville Peninsula.
