Description

Late-season, accumulating snowfall is expected.

Locations: Cartwright to Lodge Bay, and Eagle River.

Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm, except lesser amounts along parts of the coast.

Time span: until overnight tonight.

Remarks: Snow will accumulate steadily and significantly inland and over higher terrain, while rain, or a mixture of snow and rain, is expected near the coast.

Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions. Snow accumulation may make travel slow or hazardous. Roads and walkways could become slippery and difficult to navigate.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most hazardous conditions.
