Description

Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

Locations: Red Bay to L'Anse-au-Clair.

Total snowfall: near 5 cm except 20 cm north of Red Bay.

Maximum wind gusts: northerly 110 km/h.

Time span: Thursday evening until Friday morning.

Remarks: While the heaviest snow will occur north of Red Bay, strong winds are expected over all areas. The combination of wind and fresh snowfall will result in poor visibility in blowing snow.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate.
