Description

Significant snowfall is expected in some areas.

Locations: Green Bay - White Bay and Bay of Exploits.

Additional snowfall: 5 to 10 cm, except locally up to 15 cm over northern sections of the Baie Verte Peninsula as well as from Halls Bay to Botwood.

Timing: continuing until Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Snowfall accumulations will vary considerably over short distances owing to small differences in temperature, which are expected to hover near the freezing mark. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy.
