Description

A combination of snow, ice pellets, and freezing rain is expected.

Locations: east coast of Newfoundland.

Potential snow and ice pellet amounts: 5 to 15 cm.

Potential freezing rain duration: near 4 hours.
Potential freezing rain amounts: 2 to 5 mm.

Time span: overnight tonight until Thursday evening.

Remarks: Precipitation is expected to begin as snow, with significant accumulations possible, before transitioning to several hours of ice pellets and freezing rain then rain or drizzle.

Additional snowfall accumulations are possible on Friday with the passage of a cold front.
