A prolonged period of strong winds is expected

Additional information:
A strong low pressure system will bring a prolonged period of strong winds to the Fraser Canyon. Winds are expected to continue tonight, with gusts reaching up to 90 km/h. As the low pressure moves down the B.C. coast, winds will further intensify early Thursday morning with gusts up to 100 km/h throughout the day, before easing late that evening.
