Rain, at times heavy, continues.
What and When:
- 150 to 200 mm event totals for coastal communities
- 200 to 250 mm event totals over the mountains except locally higher amounts approaching 300 mm
Where:
- Central Coast - south of Bella Bella near Rivers Inlet
Impacts:
-Prolonged heavy rain on snow combined with mountain snow melt will lead to very enhanced responses in river systems and potential for flooding.
-Extensive water pooling on roads and washouts may occur.
-Enhanced risk of landslides due to saturation of landscapes.
Additional information:
An atmospheric river continues to bring heavy rain across the Central Coast south of Bella Bella, near Rivers Inlet. Additionally, snow levels have risen, peaking at 2500 metres resulting in mountain snow melt. The rainfall will ease through this morning.

Localized flooding is likely. Some roads may become impassable. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.
