UPDATE: High wind effect impacts are expected on the southern and eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg from Winnipeg Beach to Manigotagan on June 17. High wind effects are expected to remain on the southern shores from Winnipeg Beach to Grand Marais on June 18. Increased winds can raise water levels on the lake between 0.9-1.5 m. Significant and forceful wave action is anticipated for the area posing a potential threat to lakeside infrastructure and property.
