Description

High winds are forecasted to begin on September 12, 2026, at 12:00 AM and continue until September 13, 2026, at 12:00 AM. Wind effect impacts at the eastern shore from Little Black River to Wanipigow are expected to reduce in the afternoon. These winds and wave activity on Lake Winnipeg, particularly along the eastern and southern shorelines, could raise water levels as much as 0.9 to 1.5 meters with significant wave actions expected, posing a potential threat to lakeside infrastructure and property.
