Yellow Advisory - Blowing Snow

Description

Gusty outflow winds giving occasional poor visibility in blowing snow.

Where: South Klondike Highway and Haines Road.

When: Now through early Wednesday morning.

Additional Information:
Strong outflow winds will persist until Wednesday morning as arctic air from the Yukon makes its way out onto the coast. As the winds weaken on Wednesday, improving wind chills and visibilities in blowing snow are expected.

Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected.
