At 5:28 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and up to quarter size hail.

Montana-Saskatchewan border
Motion: Moving quickly to the northeast at 80 km/h
Hazards:
Wind: damaging (110 - 129 km/h)

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.

Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm
Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts.
Severe thunderstorms currently in Montana will approach the southwest corner of Saskatchewan later this afternoon. These storms will bring strong wind gusts possibly in excess of 110 km/h. These storms are expected to weaken later this evening.
