Description

A winter storm is expected.

What:
Total snow and ice pellets accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres over a 24-hour period.
Strong winds reaching between 30 and 50 kilometres per hour.
Local blowing snow conditions resulting in reduced visibility.

When: Wednesday to Thursday morning.

Where: Témiscamingue, La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve and Parent-Gouin Reservoir.

Additional information:
Precipitation will start as snow and will be accompanied by local blowing snow. Snow will become mixed with freezing rain late in the day on Wednesday, before changing back to snow.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
