Description

Significant snowfall is expected over some areas.

Locations: Upper Lake Melville; Eagle River.

Snowfall tonight: 5 to 10 cm, except up to 20 cm over higher terrain.

Timing: Snow will ease Saturday morning.

Remarks: Snow will continue through the night, with the heaviest accumulations over higher elevations. Travel impacts are most likely along the Trans-Labrador Highway between Happy Valley–Goose Bay and the Kenamu River. In addition, gusty winds may occasionally lead to reduced visibility in blowing snow.
