Description
Freezing rain expected today. Locations: central and southern New Brunswick except Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County. Freezing rain duration: 4 to 8 hours. Total freezing rain amounts: 5 to 10 mm. Time span: spreading from west to east during the day, ending tonight. Remarks: Freezing rain will change to rain this afternoon or evening as temperatures rise above zero. There will also be a period of snow and ice pellets before the freezing rain. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Locations: parts of the Fundy coastal regions of New Brunswick.

Time span: ending overnight tonight.

Remarks: Precipitation will start as snow and freezing over most areas. Ensure storm drains and gutters are clear of ice and debris to reduce localized flooding.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
