Yellow Warning - Freezing Rain
Freezing rain is expected.
Locations: central and much of southern New Brunswick.
Freezing rain duration: 4 to 8 hours.
Total freezing rain amounts: 10 to 15 mm.
Time span: late this evening until Thursday morning.
Remarks: The freezing rain will be preceded by a period of snow and then ice pellets, with total accumulations near 5 cm possible preceding the onset of freezing rain.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Property or tree damage due to the weight of ice is possible.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
