Description

Heavy rain is expected. The ground has a reduced ability to absorb rainfall.

20-30 mm is expected over the next 12 hours falling on already very wet ground.

A slow moving low pressure system tracking east throughout the day will bring a large area of sustained rainfall through the Dauphin, Minnedosa and Gladstone areas. Rainfall is expected to weaken and move out of the area this evening.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Local utility outages are possible. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.
