Description

A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected.

When:
Tonight through Thursday night.

Where:
- Highway 1 near Rogers Pass

Additional information:
A frontal system is bringing snow to Rogers Pass. 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected tonight, with an additional 10 cm on Thursday and 10 to 15 cm Thursday night as the snowfall intensifies. Snowfall is likely to continue into Friday, and amounts will be updated accordingly. Moderate winds will also bring periods of local blowing snow along the route.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
