Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill. If it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside. Outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks to warm up.

Description

Christmas Eve snowfall expected across central Alberta.

A significant snowfall of 10 to 20 cm is forecast for central Alberta beginning late Wednesday morning. Snow is expected to begin near Red Deer and will spread to the north and northeast through the day, reaching Whitecourt in the early evening and areas near the Saskatchewan border by the afternoon.
The snow will taper off by Christmas morning.

Be prepared for winter driving conditions.
